ADVENTURE THERAPY
This is the oil on the bearings that keeps the wheels moving properly. Who wants to sit in a classroom setting for five hours a day listening to a lecture? There is only so much of that we can take. That is why we decided to add adventure into the mix with activities such as hiking, mountain biking, paintball, top golf, yoga, etc. Many of us have addictive personalities that latched on to drugs and alcohol. When those substances are removed, the addictive personality doesn’t just disappear. We often channel it towards activities that give us a similar thrill, such as running, biking, working, gaming, music, Netflix, eating… the list goes on. Adventure therapy helps to shift that addictive tendency into something healthier and productive.
